120 / 620 roll film "adapters":

There are some washers for sale on eBay that are marketed as "120 / 620 film adapters". One seller states, "In original packaging -new,unsused-, this is set of metal adapters to convert six 120 plastic film spools for use with 620 cameras. No need to re-spool 120 film onto 620 spool. Use the new 120 film and spools with the earlier 620 cameras! Comes with instructions. Winner to include $1.75 for packaging and deliver ..."

The other seller states, "In original packaging -new,unsused-, this is set of metal adapters to convert six 120 plastic film spools for use with 620 cameras. Hmm... I'd say these two sellers have something in common. AND ... how come this seller can post photos of other items, but not the washers? I've posted photos here, and I only just received them today.

Silly little washers ... for 10 bucks, no less!

The instructions.

How is this going to help me?

A simple washer can't overcome the fact that the film's too fat. If the roll don't fit, you must acquit.

Toenail clippers nearly always do the trick.

The 120 roll will now fit.

See?

For the record: I didn't purchase these. They were sent to me by some poor guy who had "sucker" written across his forehead. He writes, "They did include a micro size print set of instructions on a piece of paper that would make a Cracker Jack prize seem like an encyclopedia. It basically sez to glue them on the end. Wow, hello Richard Feynman and/or Stephen Hawking! Do you think Robert Frank used them?"

"James". Shoe size; 9?
