DAN KJELDGAARD - BUFFALO, NY

Pandreamer : "One block from my house, it is a 1902 or so streetcar barn,
which is now used as storage & display space by the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.
In 2001, this replica of a Pan American Exposition midway attraction (DREAMLAND) was
constructed; I think they just haven't had the heart to take it down."

Twintowers: "Across Forest Avenue from the big lady is the old N.Y.State Psychiatric
Hospital. While there are newer buildings being used for that purpose, the central
Administration Building & all the rest of the extensive structures are abandoned &
deteriorating rapidly. Henry Hobson Richardson designed this complex, and it will be a shame if
it's allowed to fall apart."

City Hall: "This is Buffalo's city hall, started in 1929; has a sort of Buck Rogers look,
doesn't it?  They apparently expected BIG things for Buffalo, building all this space - but
things aren't so big now - Buffalo's population is now lower than it was in 1900.  Getting most
of the building in the shot was a challenge, with the 50mm lens! (I stood in the middle of the
street, but look - hardly any traffic) "
