THE ARGUS WORLD ARGOSY

WILLIAM MORGAN - Kansas City, KS

Though I live on the Kansas side of the river, all my photos were taken in Kansas City, Missouri because they can afford statues and electric lights.

Kansas City's renowned Country Club Plaza Christmas lights, as seen looking north from beside the Fairmount Inn at Wornall and Ward Parkway. Taken with the World Argus, Dec. 24, 2003, on DG (Dollar General) ASA 200 film (made in Japan and distributed by the Dolgen Company). Taken at 1/25th @ f3.5.

More of Kansas City's famed Plaza lights on J.C. Nichols Road at Broadway, same ASA 200 DG film taken at 1/25th @ f3.5. I can't explain the halo effect but it appears on another double exposure including this same scene.

Statue named "The Scout" which sits on a high bluff in Penn Valley Park, overlooking downtown Kansas City. Taken at 1/25 @f16 with No. 5 flashbulb fill.
