THE ARGUS WORLD ARGOSY

Mark O'Brien - Ann Arbor, MI

Digital shot of Dan Cluley (L) handing me the World Argus in front of its birthplace.
We then took it inside so it could be in the womb one more time...

A shot of the reflection of Sharon Mill in Sharon Twp. -
One of the mills that Henry Ford used in outlying communities.  It
started out as a gristmill, and Ford bought it and used the mill to
produce sub-assemblies for his cars.  This one may have made cigarette
lighters.  Later, it became a winery, and now it is a county park
facility.  Agfa HDC 100 print film, 1/100 @ f/8.

The renowned Burton Tower on the UM campus -- it houses a
carillion which is fun to listen to.  One of the UM Regents jumped from
it in the 1980s and made quite an impact.  I took it this morning, as
the rising sun was hitting it.  Agfa HDC 100 film, 1/100 @ f 5.6.
