THE ARGUS WORLD ARGOSY

John Stepp - Clemson, SC

(Me)   John Stepp   --- Taken with the World Argus, using an Argus electronic flash..

When I received this camera in May, we were in the middle of a prolonged spell of bad weather.  Rain  Rain  Rain  .
After waiting out the weather, I finally got some pretty decent days, but not the really bright and clear ones I had hoped for.
I shot 2 rolls of Polaroid 200 and did not mess up too many of them. Shot mostly  at  about f 8 and at about 1/100.
I learned that a tripod would be good to use with an Argus to hold it more steady.
I was most impressed with he 'brightness and sharpness of the view and rangefinder", really nice!!!
Had Lots of Fun doing this!!!!

A likeness of Thomas G. Clemson.  He was the son-in-law of John C Calhoun (The former VP of US,  Sec of War, Sec of State, Senator, and Congressman). Clemson bequested the former Calhoun estate to SC in 1886 for the establishment of an Agricultural School, which is now called Clemson University.
