Have you ever driven out Highway 6, toward Chehalis and, just past Menlo, you've seen that building with the neatly manicured grounds and the sign that says "Willapa Marine"? Have you ever seen it and wondered what the heck they do there? Do they fix boats? They're not on the water.
Well, you know what they do? They manufacture high quality recreational shellfish gear. Seriously. I had the opportunity to photograph some of their items a while back. For those of us interested in shopping locally, they sell their goods at Dennis Company and Grayland True Value. Another outlet for Willapa Marine gear is Amazon.com. The big news is that they recently began selling through Costco.com. Into the studio last week came Willapa Marine's latest gear - which they needed photographs of for Costco. Crab rings, crab pots, shrimp pots, razor clam guns, crab buoys, bait bags... the list goes on. Check them out at http://www.willapamarineproducts.com/
